Where it all started
uGlow began in a kitchen in the Tees Valley. After years working in tanning, our founder Louise Cooper wanted a tan that looked natural and didn't leave colour behind on clothes and sheets. So she started making her own.
That idea became Clear Water Technology: a clear tanning water with no colour guide, no added fragrance and only a minimal odour. Today uGlow is made in the UK. It's vegan, cruelty-free, contains hyaluronic acid and suits all skin tones.
"When I started making uGlow in my kitchen, I just wanted a tan that looked like your own skin, only glowing," says Louise. "To see the formula recognised for its science means so much - to me, and to every artist and customer who has believed in uGlow from the start."
